Heather Foster

Heather Foster is a political thought leader and corporate executive focused on advancing opportunities for economic mobility. She is currently a policy executive at Lyft, Inc where she manages a team of government relations and public engagement managers working with regulators, legislators, and community leaders to provide transportation in communities across North America. Heather has built a political career that has included grassroots organizing, political strategy and policy engagement for two decades. Most recently, Heather served on the transition team for the Biden-Harris administration focusing on executive agency confirmations. Heather was Vice President at Finn Partners building a portfolio of political and public engagement strategies for foundations, companies, and nonprofits. Heather also served in the Obama Biden administration for seven years as Policy Advisor to Secretary Arne Duncan and Public Engagement Advisor to President Barack Obama. She has been recognized by National Journal as one of its “25 Most Influential Women in Politics'' and InStyle Magazine’s “50 Women Making the World A Better Place”. She co-authored West Wingers and has made several appearances on MSNBC, NBC News, and Sirius XM radio where she has provided political commentary and analysis. Heather also serves on the boards of Step Up and Equity Advisor to Sephora Brands Inc.
